Around the Bay 30k: Week 8, Day 3
The Run: Easy 12km.
I swapped today’s scheduled 8km tempo for tomorrow’s easy 12 because my hammys were feeling pretty tight after going hard on squats and glute-ham raises yesterday. It was the right call: 5:00/km pace felt breazey but the points where I pushed the pace felt sluggish.
3/6 runs, 2/3 lifts.
What’s Left: 8km tempo, Easy 12, Long 24 (out and back x3-4 through Valley Inn road where the big-ass hill on the course is).
