Around the Bay 30k: Week 8, Day 1
The Run: Easy 12
In the dark, after a heavy day at the gym, with temps dropping. Easily kept a 5:00/km pace. PEW PEW PEW.
I guess that’s what happens when you bail on your long run the day before.
I fell about 18km shy of my goal total last week: I skipped Friday’s easy 12 and cut Sunday’s long run 6km short. Still working on that 6 run, 3 lift week. This week, it’s gonna happen.
Next up: I’ve got “HARD HILLS” written on the schedule. The forecast calls for something approaching absolute zero, so maybe I’ll do hills on a treadmill until I puke or something. Or swap whatever HARD HILLS is with next week’s planned interval workout and use the indoor track.
