Around the Bay 30k: Week 7, Day 2 (Late post from Tuesday)
The Run: The schedule called for 5x1km w. 600m recovery. I felt that was a little weak so scheduled 6 reps in. But training isn’t about pushing to the max, so I called it at five and kept fresh legs. I wanted to be between 3:55 and 4:10 I think. Nailed it. It was fucking cold though.
Oh yea, I selected the wrong workout on the watch and didn’t realize until I started the first interval. So there’s about 1600m of warmup not included here.
