Around the Bay training, wk.1, day 2.

Today’s run: Easy 10k. Pretty straightforward. 10k in about 51min. They say to run your easy runs slow, supposedly around 5:20-5:25/km for me. I can’t take it that easy most days. Today worked out around 5:06/km, and my easy runs are typically 5:00-5:15. So, ya.

Nutrition: Kashi+Banana+Soy milk for breakfast after the run. Ya, ya. Breakfast after a noon run means I slept in. Deal with it. A couple packs of instant oatmeal jazzed up with fresh(ish) blueberries. Same pasta I had last night for dinner tonight.

Lifts: Back and Bi today. Pullups (wide-grip, bitch!), rows, pulldowns, more rows, curls and core. Add in a stretching session and 10min in the sauna and I was gone for over 2hours. Hate when that happens. I used to be able to do more pullups. I gotta start doing them at home everyday, and pushups/situps on days when I don’t hit the gym.
